Dave Pasch serves as a play-by-play commentator for ESPN, primarily working college football, men’s college basketball and the NBA. He joined the network in 2003, calling the action on ESPN’s coverage of men’s and women’s college basketball, including Championship Week and the Women’s Tournament; and the WNBA and college baseball.
In addition to his duties with ESPN, Dave serves as the radio voice of the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals.
Dave had previously worked for Westwood One Radio from 1999-2003, calling college basketball and golf. From 1999-2002, he was the radio voice for Syracuse football and basketball on the Syracuse University Radio Network. Dave also called select NFL and NFL Europe games for FOX Sports in 2002 and 2003.
Prior to calling Syracuse football and basketball, Dave worked for WMAQ-AM in Chicago. His duties included hosting a talk show, as well as the Chicago Blackhawks’ pre-game show and calling play-by-play on select Blackhawks broadcasts. While in Chicago, Dave also served as a fill-in commentator for various Fox Sports Chicago events. From 1995-1997, Dave worked for WDFN-AM in Detroit, serving as a sports anchor, talk show host and play-by-play commentator for Detroit Vipers broadcasts.
Dave worked for West Virginia Radio from 1994-1995 as a news and sports anchor, as well as calling high school football play-by-play. From 1990-1994, he worked at WAER-FM, the Syracuse University student station. Dave graduated from the Syracuse University with a degree in speech communications.
Dave and his family reside in Chandler, Arizona.
