Robbie Hummel is a professional basketball player who currently plays for Khimki of the VTB United League, the first tier of club basketball in Russia.

Robbie is best known for his outstanding career as a collegiate player at Purdue University. During his time at Purdue, Robbie made First-Team All-Big Ten three times, was named to the Big Ten All-Freshman team, and was a two-time AP Honorable Mention All-American. Robbie led the Boilermakers to their first Big Ten championship in school history in 2009 and was named the tournament’s most valuable player. He played in the NCAA Tournament in all four years of eligibility at Purdue, including an appearance in the Sweet Sixteen in 2009.

Upon his graduation, Robbie declared for the NBA draft and was selected 58th overall in the second round by the Minnesota Timberwolves. In addition to playing two seasons in the NBA, Robbie has played professionally in Spain, Italy, and Russia.

Robbie appeared as a guest analyst for the Big Ten network during the 2016 Big Ten Tournament and plans on pursuing a career in broadcasting for the 2017-2018 season.
