Since 2015, Roddy Jones has been a college football analyst for Raycom Sports/ACC Network’s game of the week. Prior to Raycom, Roddy was the game analyst for the Georgia Tech radio network and Georgia Tech Baseball broadcasts on ESPN3. He also worked as an analyst for select ESPN3 events including Georgia Tech Football’s Spring Games, Pro Day, and Softball games.
Before his career in broadcasting, Roddy was a standout running back at Georgia Tech. On the field, Roddy was a part of the 2009 ACC Championship team for Georgia Tech, holds the career record for yards per carry, and his 52 career starts are the most in the history of the school. While at Georgia Tech, Roddy was named to the Academic-All ACC team 3 times, voted the president of the Student Athlete Advisory Board, awarded the 2011 Boy Scouts of America Peach of an Athlete Role Model Award, and was voted team captain by his teammates.
In his spare time, Roddy likes to relive the glory days on the flag football field, play board games, and watch European Football (soccer). He currently lives in Atlanta.
